Giving Wakaf or endowments is a practise that has great benefits for society. The person who give endowment always receives the reward for his or her actions as long as the material given can still be used by the public, and continues to receive the reward even after the person has passed away. This was one of the points outlined in the Friday Sermon titled "Gaining Continuous Rewards Through Endowments". The sermon also shared the benefits and rewards obtained by giving endowments.

First: Spending one's beloved wealth in the path of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala is one of the ways to obtain perfect virtue, namely the reward of heaven, the mercy and blessings of Allah, and safety from His punishment. Second: Muslims are required to always prioritize their immediate family members in giving charity as it is a noble and highly commendable practise. Third: Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala is All-Knowing of every deed performed by His servants. Remember that those who give charity, endowment, and spend their wealth on others can not only protect themselves from stinginess, but can also save themselves from the torment of Hellfire.
